Review Questions part 4

In what ways did genocide impact the development of the developing country?
Genocide impacted the development of the developing country because of the casualties. Many leaders had been killed, the roads, buildings and services had been badly damaged and many people became traumatized by the violence.

Where does the rebuilding of a country shattered by genocide begin? What can the people do? What an the government do? What can the international community do?
The rebuilding of a country shattered by genocide begins with the citizens. They need to come together as a community and start rebuilding. They have to want to start rebuilding. Morn the losses but not let it hold them back from building a community. The government would need to be established and so would control. They would need a starting point to where and what should start to be rebuilt. The international communities could send money and support to Rwanda.

How can justice be found in post-genocide Rwanda?
Justice can be found in post-genocide of Rwanda by the trials. Trials are starting to be taking place in the community to give the punishment that is deserved to the murders.

Which can bring justice to the people of Rwanda more effectively - international courts or community courts?
I believe that community courts would bring justice to the Rwanda more effectively than international courts. This is because the courts would happen more quickly and punishment would be dished out quicker. Also, the people form the community can watch them. Also, people in the community would understand the situation more.
