Caste System in India

Question: Discuss the caste system in terms of it's justification by the Brahmins, and the impact on the Dalits.
The caste system is justified by the Brahmins because it will create the all the Dalits jobs. Once kids are born in India, they are classified into a group that literally sets there life ahead of them. How they are chosen what group there in is strictly based on what group there family is in. If there family was Brahmins, they would be Brahmins. If they were Dalits, they would be Dalits. This may not seem fair but people in India follow this because their holy religious book says to.
This impacts the Dalits in many mays. One way is socially. Since they are the lowest class they are looked down on. They can not socialize with the other classes. For example when a Dalit kid tried to sit at the same lunch table as a Brahmin, the kids left. People in India are told that the Dalits are polluted and they will be polluted when with them or around them. Dalti people have to take off there shoes when going in public places of upper class men. If they don't, they are beaten. Dalti people are also issued the dirty jobs like sweeping, cleaning bathrooms, cleaning the roads of dead animals, dead people, and cleaning the sewage. This is a very unfair system.
